Yes! A year and a half after we put the spores in the logs, the shittake mushrooms are fruiting. We had almost 5 inches of rain last Thursday and Friday and the mushrooms must have loved it! I just picked 3 huge mushrooms that were big enough to slice for an asian noodle salad that we’ll be having tomorrow.  And there are a lot more mushrooms that should be ready to pick tomorrow.
