Baby, won’t you drive my car?
Dave, who will always be our baby, got his driver’s license yesterday! This morning was his first solo drive to school. He’s driving “his car,” a 2001 Honda Civic.

Dave makes crepes
And they were delicious. Dave made the batter the night before, using the recipe from Deborah Madison’s “Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone.” He also made two fillings – cherry and strawberry – with no recipe. That kid can cook!

The Christmas Eve Construction Project
Dave put together the gingerbread house with help from his aunts, Beverly and Ruth Ann. The younger kids decorated it – and ate a lot of the candy, too.
