Y’all remember the long gone Cafe Laredo in Lake Jackson? Years ago, a friend of mine gave me their salsa recipe and I’ve been making it ever since. It’s always a hit, easy to make and easy to modify. Since posting secret info on the internet is all the rage these days, I thought I’d post the “secret” recipe here.

Really Good Salsa
1 28 Oz can Muir Glen diced tomatoes
2/3 Cup fresh cilantro, de-stemmed and chopped
2 Tsp cumin
2 Tsp white vinegar
1 Tsp salt
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 to 3 Serrano peppers, depending on heat desired
Put everything in a food processor and blend to desired consistency.
